Preventing Repeat Problems

Testing is most useful when findings are connected to maintenance actions. Reports should identify what passed, what failed, what changed, and what should be inspected or tested next.

Documentation should include the breaker manufacturer, model, serial number, location, test methods, relevant readings, condition found, work performed, and final service status. Photographs and previous results can help owners determine which breakers need repair, replacement, or closer monitoring.
